Abstract. From 2017 to 2022, a planned study was conducted with a historical control group. It resulted in the development of a device for mobilizing the pectoralis major muscle during the installation of an endoprosthesis (utility model patent No. 175229 of 11.28.2017). To evaluate the effectiveness of its use, we analyzed the results of treatment of 245 patients diagnosed with breast cancer. In patients of the control group (n = 120), the mobilization of the pectoralis major muscle during the endoprosthesis installation was carried out using the Farabeuf hook, and the proposed device was used for this manipulation in 125 patients of the main group. The analysis proved that this device may reduce blood loss and the time of the operation with better visualization of the surgical field.
