Abstract. The article discusses the state of the problem of the use of platinum drugs to patients with metastatic bladder cancer, the possibility of correcting the side effects of therapy. The purpose of treatment for metastatic tumor spread is to control the disease, prolong life and improve its qualities. Treatment of metastatic bladder cancer includes palliative systemic and radiation therapy. This article discusses the features of the use of platinum preparations in common/metastatic forms of bladder cancer. The experience of treatment of metastatic bladder cancer on the basis of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of the BSMU of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for a five-year period is presented.
