Abstract. The levels of morbidity and mortality from colon cancer in Azerbaijan for 2022 have been studied. A rather unfavorable situation regarding this nosology has been identified, where the extensive rate was 6,8% for males and 5,2% for females. An increase in intensity coefficient (8,9 0/0000 ― men and 7,50/0000 ― women) and the incidence (40,00/0000 ― men and 27,30/0000 ― women) was revealed. The mortality rate was sufficiently high both in men ― 5,00/0000, and in women ― 3,00/0000. During the study period, the 5-year survival rate of colon cancer patients was 31,5% on average. High values of the standardized incidence were in the age groups of 50-59 years (2,10/0000 ― men and 2,20/0000 ― women) and 60-69 years (3,40/0000 ― men and 2,30/0000 ― women), with a further decrease in the age group of 70 years and above (1,80/0000 ― men and 1,50/0000 ― women).
