Abstract. The article analyzes the main epidemiological indicators of rectal cancer.
The purpose of this study is to study the main epidemiological indicators of rectal cancer in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020.
Relevance. The incidence of rectal cancer (RCC) is at a high level in many countries of the world. The increase in morbidity is due to many factors, such as gender, age, heredity, lifestyle, as well as measures aimed at the prevention and early detection of rectal tumors. RCC is the eighth most common cause of death among men and the tenth among women in the world.
