Abstract. Analysis of complications of endoscopic retrograde transpapillary interventions by periods of activity from 2007 to 2015 taking into account the implementation of the most important preventive and therapeutic measures was conducted. Postmanipulation complications after 1028 transpapillary interventions in 575 patients in 30 cases occured and amounted to 2,9%, mortality occured in 1 case (0,09%).

In the initial period from 2007 to 2008, after 129 interventions diagnosed 11 complications (8,5%) with one fatal outcome (0,7%). In the second period from 2009 to 2011 carried out 351 operations, complications diagnosed in 12 (3,4%). In the third period, with the 2012 and 2015 carried out 548 operations, complications diagnosed in 7 (1,2%).

In the period 2009-2011 а leading factor in the prevention of postmanipulation complications was improvement to the algorithm of preoperative diagnostic method endosonography, limit indications for routine transpapillary operations after prior radiation diagnostic techniques for 28-29%, eliminate contrasting duct systems for diagnostic purposes.

Key words: postmanipulation complications, endoscopic retrograde transpapillary intervention, endosonography.
