Abstract. We analysed video-assisted thoracoscopy (VATS) in diagnosing and treatment of esophagus leiomyoma (LE). 15 VATS esophagus operations were performed in Tatarstan Cancer Center from 1997 to 2015 concerning leiomyoma. The average age is 48,1 (26-74). Mostly men have been operated ― 9 people, women ― 6 people. Among these leiomyoma has been localized in 2 patients in the upper esophagus, in 10 patients ― in the middle part, and in 3 patients ― in the lower part. Postoperative lethality hasn’t been observed. Conversion wasn’t needed. Showing the technical aspects of surgery. They discussed the results of the postoperative period.

Abstract. Analysis of complications of endoscopic retrograde transpapillary interventions by periods of activity from 2007 to 2015 taking into account the implementation of the most important preventive and therapeutic measures was conducted. Postmanipulation complications after 1028 transpapillary interventions in 575 patients in 30 cases occured and amounted to 2,9%, mortality occured in 1 case (0,09%).

Abstract. Endoscopic Ultrasonography (EUS) and Endoscopic Ultrasonography with Fine-Needle Aspiration (EUS-FNA) as an invasive methods are associated with a chance of adverse events. The unique properties of the echoendoscop and its ability to acquire tissue outside of the gastrointestinal lumen impart risks that are not associated with routine endoscopic procedures. Increased risks are connected to the safety of the needle insertion route, presence of blood disorders in patient etc. In this review we discuss frequency of adverse events related to EUS-FNA of solid masses.

Abstract. Chronic abdominal pain syndrome is present in most oncology diseases of abdominal cavity as well as in chronic pain form of chronic pancreatitis. Despite development of new chemotherapeutic drugs, new surgical methods of treating pain, pain management  the patients is still a dilemma as each of the methods has its own complications. Also each methods has their own deficiencies. One of the methods is percutaneous under US and CT-control and the other is neurolysis under endoscopic ultrasound control. Both methods are very useful and cause less complications. We performed a study to asses pain syndrome dynamics after endoscopic neurolysis and reveal most common response pattern to the method.
