Abstract. In article contrastive analysis of 266 implantations venous port systems using and without application of ultrasonic navigation is given in a stage of a kateterization of a subclavial vein. Following the results of the analysis it is received that ultrasonic visualization of a vein authentically reduces time of a kateterization (2,1±0,7 min, and 5,3±1,05 min. a blind, р<0,05) and excludes a puncture of a subclavial artery (0,53% min, and 8,75% a blind, р<0,05).

Key words: port system, ultrasonic navigation.
