Abstract
The prospective study presents data for 2010-2017, using the reconstructive-plastic component in combined operations for malignant tumors of the pharynx, oral cavity, upper jaw, lower jaw, lower lip. In order to assess the immediate and immediate results of treatment of patients with malignant tumors of the head and neck during operations with end-to-end defects and single-stage plastic defects of different types of skin and muscle flaps in analyzed data 165 patients.
During this period, simultaneously plastic defects infrahyoid submentalis and skin-muscle flaps produced 116 patients. All patients with I-IV stages of cancer of the bottom of the mouth, tongue, oropharynx, larynx, upper jaw or recurrent cancer of the bottom of the mouth and tongue after ineffective radiation or chemoradiotherapy. Study design-case-control. The analysis of immediate results of treatment of patients, and particularly reconstruction using infrahyoid and submental musculo-cutaneous flaps. Postoperative complications were 2.6%. The postoperative mortality rate was 0.9%.
