Abstract. Currently endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) is given higher priority in solving complex problems of differential diagnosis of pancreatobiliary diseases. Development of medical technologies has allowed to introduce new techniques into clinical practice used in endoscopic ultrasound, such as contrast-enhanced harmonic EUS (CH-EUS) and elastography (EUS-E). Now assessment of diagnostic accuracy and determining the place of CH-EUS and EUS-E in the diagnosis pancreatic diseases are considered the most relevant tasks. In this article we analyzed the results of EUS with contrast enhancement and elastography in 20 patients with cystic and 55 with solid pancreatic masses.
Key words: endoscopic ultrasonography, contrast enhancement, elastography, pancreas, solid pancreatic lesion, cystic neoplasia.
