TROMBOEMBOLISM OF PULMONARY ARTERY IN CANCER PATIENTS WITH DIFFERENT LOCALIZATION OF TUMOR

Abstract. The data about the thromboembolic complications in cancer patients that was received by the analysis of case report of 1727 patients treated in the Orenburg Regional Oncology Clinic with 2003 to 2015, was presented in this study. For this period the thromboembolism of pulmonary artery (TELA) was diagnosed in 103 patients (5,9%). The women were 61 (59,2%) and the men ― 42 (40,8%) cases. The death rate from the TELA has made 68,9%. In women the TELA was most often registered in the cancer of sexual system and mammary gland (in 54% cases), in men ― in the cancer of lung and gastrointestinal tract (in 76,51% cases). The TELA was associated with surgery in 80 cases (77,7%). In non operated patients it was noted in 23 cases (22,3%). The hipercoagulation was observed in patients with TELA in more than half on cases (57,3%).
